We would really love you to post up your memories and photos (please get permission for all who are in your photos before posting) so we can at least gather together, virtually of course, to celebrate this house and all it means to us.
God bless the corners of this house, and be the lintel blessed, and bless the hearth, and bless the board, and bless each place of rest. Bless each door that opens wide to strangers and to kin, and bless each crystal windowpane that lets the sunshine in. And bless the rooftree overhead, and every sturdy wall. The peace of man. The peace of God. The peace of love to All.

The Holy Island of Lindesfarne is always in my heart and just to think of it lifts my soul a little closer to heaven. A Northumbrian lass, Lindesfarne is my spiritual home. So many pilgrimages from childhood onwards to this liminal space where heaven and Earth meet..For my 60th birthday (last November) a sublime week-long Retreat. Saint Cuthbert & Saint Aiden feel ever close there... the seals sang with us from Saint Cuthberts island.. the tide closed us off from the mainland twice a day... meeting with other pilgrims.. prayers in Saint Marys church; hymns on the heugh as the tide rolled in, lighting healing candles for a dear friend in the tiny chapel at the back of Saint Cuthbert's Church.. Deep Peace! May the Saints and the Saviour watch over us all and may we be blessed to return as pilgrims once again.
